Help bring learning and care within reach

Every contribution will go towards practical support for children and families in Kolkata — and we will report openly on how it is used.

Where your money goes

How donations will be used

When donations open, funds will go to the cause or project you choose. These are the kinds of costs our planned programmes involve. We will publish what each programme actually costs once it runs.

Learning materials

Notebooks, stationery, reading books and simple teaching aids for learning circles.

Health camp essentials

Basic screening equipment, consumables and printed health information.

Volunteer training

Safeguarding, first-aid and teaching-skills training so volunteers can help safely and well.

Getting to communities

Local travel and venue costs for sessions held close to where families live.

The process

How giving will work

  1. Choose your gift

Pick an amount, how often to give and what you would like to support.

  2. Pay securely

Payment is completed in a secure window run by a recognised Indian payment provider. Your card or UPI details go directly to the provider — we never see or store them.

  3. Confirmation

We show a confirmation only after our server has verified the payment with the provider.

  4. Receipt & updates

You receive a receipt by email and, if you wish, updates on how your gift was used.

Security & privacy

Protecting your payment and data

  • The website is designed to run only over a secure HTTPS connection.
  • Payment details are handled by the payment provider, not by Quabit.
  • We only ask for the information needed to process your gift and send a receipt.
  • We never sell or share donor details with other organisations for marketing.

No payment provider is connected yet. These are the standards we will meet when donations open. Read the full Privacy Policy and Donation & Refund Policy.

Questions

Can't find your answer? Contact us.

Can I donate online?
Not yet. Online donations are not open because Quabit is not registered and has not set up a payment provider. No payment can be taken through this website. You can contact us or subscribe to updates to hear when donations open.
Are donations to Quabit tax-deductible under Section 80G?
No. Quabit does not hold 80G approval, so donations are not eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, and we will not issue 80G certificates.
Can I donate from outside India?
No. Quabit is not registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA) and cannot accept foreign contributions.
How will donations be used once they open?
Donations will be used for the programme you choose, or where the need is greatest if you choose general support. We will publish funding utilisation reports on our Transparency page. Please read our Donation & Refund Policy.
Can I get a refund?
Our Donation & Refund Policy explains when refunds are possible — for example, a duplicate payment or an incorrect amount reported promptly.
